DTC’s Job Placement Assistance services include a variety of support and resources intended to help students secure employment after graduation from DTC.

How Do I Qualify for Job Placement Assistance Services?
At DTC, every qualified student has access to Job Placement Assistance services. As students approach the end of their program or course, they must meet the following criteria to qualify for these services:
- Maintain an overall grade point average of 70% or higher
- Achieve an overall attendance rate of 90% or better
- Remain in good standing with DTC
If you’re a current student and have questions regarding the status of your qualification for Job Placement Assistance, contact your program’s Placement Coordinator or speak to your instructor. Even after graduation, DTC continues to be a resource for our alumni!

- Resume Writing: DTC provides workshops to help you build a resume that highlights your strengths and stand out in a competitive job market, whether you’re a current student or alumni. Individualized support is also available upon request.
- Networking and Referrals: DTC has established partnerships with local employers across all our campus locations to help our students secure employment upon graduation. DTC’s Placement Coordinators can also help connect you with employment opportunities and assist in requesting professional references from instructors or school officials to help support your job applications.
- Application Assistance: DTC’s Placement Coordinators can help you find and complete applications for roles within your career field.
- Interview Preparation: DTC’s interview preparation workshops help you build confidence, make a positive first impression, and navigate the interview process. Plus, you’ll learn how to follow up effectively and showcase professionalism through your attire.
- Career Planning: Meet with your Placement Coordinator to receive personalized guidance and identify opportunities based on your career goals. DTC’s Placement Coordinators can help you map out a path for long-term career success.
