Professional Truck Driving at Delta Technical College
DTC’s has two truck driving schools in Mississippi: 1) Horn Lake, MS campus and 2) Ridgeland, MS campus. All of DTC’s truck driving classes are taught by instructors with real-world experience. You will receive the training you need to start a career in professional truck driving, including comprehension of the Mississippi’s CDL standards, driver safety, air brakes, combination vehicles, log books, trip planning, employee and customer service relationships. HANDS-ON PROFESSIONAL TRUCK DRIVING TRAINING
Become a career truck driver with hands-on training from DTC! The Professional Truck Driving Program includes:
Weeks 1-4:
- CDL permit test preparation
- CDL endorsement preparation (doubles/triples and tankers)
- Vehicle inspection for daily operation and safe practices
- Hazardous material (hazmat) training
